Director Job Description
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Oversee finances, deliveries, and product inventory
- Order products when inventory is low (work closely with delivery manager so that you know what to order based on customer demand)
- Document changes in inventory/stock based on sales information displayed through myGroups2 so that Green Store has an ongoing record on file
- Examples of past projects: selling recyclable cups at Late Nite and in the Student Store, expanding our product line to include laundry detergent and Smart Strips (there has not been much expansion in the past two years, however)
- Work closely with Green Events Consulting Co-Directors, Axe & Palm, Stanford Dining, and ASSU (Student Services Division and Executive Cabinet), as well as all of our suppliers and vendors
- Plan and carry out meeting agendas; send out meeting notes
- Delegate tasks to the rest of the team accordingly
- Ensure that all deliveries were conducted properly
- Reply to any emails sent to the store's account
